I have some tough girlfriends. Jen sustained a brutal gash in her leg a couple of months ago. My good buddy, Mel, sent me this pic from an accident she had a couple of months ago. She said there were several weeks of recovery for mtn biking because she couldn't pull up on the bars. pretty yucky, eh?


oh...this just in...in other "mel's a badass" news - she just got back from Iceman Cometh race. She placed 15th in the Pro/Expert field and only 6(!) minutes back from Heather Irmiger. Not too shabby, eh? you go girl!
