one is the loneliest number

Dave has gotten really big into brewing beer.
The brew club had their annual Christmas Party last Friday - so I figured it would be a repeat of the Great American Beer Fest... A bunch of beer geeks get together and sample beer (i'm including dave in this description) and i get to be the designated driver to drive my tipsy boyfriend home. ;)
Dave wanted to attend - most of the beer geeks and I don't have much in common but Dave doesn't ask for much so when he wants me to do something I say yes. I totally love that man so even tho it wasn't really my cup of tea - I whipped up guacamole and off we went.
The highlight of the party was a bomber exchange - everyone brings a bomber and they draw numbers and take home a different bomber. When we arrived Dave goes "uh oh! I didn't know we were supposed to wrap them" Dave's contribution was the only unwrapped bottle oops!
After much eating and drinking - everyone gathered together for the exchange. As people start opening the wrapped bombers - we realized that the bombers weren't home brew - Dave goes 'oops! I brought home brew".
Out of about 40 bombers - Dave's contribution was the last bomber left standing. oh well...now we know to protocol. ;)
as for me - yeah - i didn't have the best time as I really didn't have much in common with any of the people there but I did enjoy spending the evening with my honey.
