More Tennis
I got to watch Trisha play another match on Sunday. She was playing with her 3.5 team
For the Sunday match we met them at the local courts and they warmed up and then we all drove to Olympia for the match. If they won 3 of the 5 matches this would put them as the number 1 team for the season.
Here’s a pic of the players that played (and their coach – Steve) – pretty fit looking bunch, eh?
This match wasn’t nearly as exciting as the Saturday match. It was obvious that Trisha was the better player and I felt bad as I saw her opponent mentally give up and Trisha won 6-4, 6-3. Poor other lady.
Her team ended up winning 4 of the 5 matches. The doubles team that lost were super bummed out. One of them stated “I’m not playing tennis anymore” I felt bad for her because I know what that feels like. I said that the time I fell off my bike and scraped all the skin off both knees. And look at me now! ;)
