Boulder County Coroner's Staff
During last year's election there was some big controversy surrounding Tom Faure - the Boulder Country Coroner.
Since I don't own a TV and watch the news I'm not quite sure what the issue was but based on my experience in the past 4+ years with different members of his staff - he'll always get my vote.
I'm on call this week and received a death call @ 4am this morning.
As usual - us(the Victim Advocates), the police and a member of the Coroner's office were present. I've seen different members of the Coroner's staff in action and all of them are very professional and compassionate. Their people handling skills are amazing. They usually have to ask tough questions or give out sensitive information and they are able to do it in a direct, clear, forthright, and respectful manner to all persons involved. They treat the friends, loved ones and deceased with the utmost respect and care. In all the staff I'd dealt with I've come away thinking they are top notch.
So as far as I'm concerned in order to have such consistently good staff - Tom Faure must be doing something right.
