champions!
1 year ago I badgered Dave into joining the McKesson Hockey team. He joined and the team sucked.
It was very painful watching their games and they'd get creamed - scores like 1-14 were common. I think they might have only won 1 game that season.
Dave has been working hard and gotten in shape (he looks pretty darn good!) anyways - they've come a long ways and this season they were the league champions. The game to decide the championship was tied at the end of the 3 period - they went into overtime and after that it was still tied - then it went to a shoot out and they won! A hard fought victory - but a victory nevertheless. ;) Oh and in addition to that the team won the "sportmanship award" too!
