chasm lake

Trisha, Bruce and I hiked up to Chasm Lake today. I rarely hike - so it was nice to get out and do something different.

It's a 8.4 mile round trip with ~2400ft elevation gain starting at 9400ft and topping out at 11,800. Trisha and Bruce are fit and do a fair bit of hiking so I knew this would be easy for them...i was just worried about me.

They did great on the trail - the altitude didn't seem to effect them at all and we motored up trail, had a nice snack at the lake and headed down. fun stuff...
