dave weins says it way better than i did
In a recent interview, when Dave Weins was asked ' what were the most overrated improvements in MTB tech?'
he answered "I can’t think of an overrated technology. Every rider has a different preference for their bikes, suspension and components; and every rider has a preference for how he or she rides. Anyone that says this or that is overrated needs to come out from under their shell. They may see no use for disc brakes, or 9 inches of travel; or for a singlespeed; but somewhere someone digs just that. That’s the diversity that makes the sport of mountain biking so cool."
This was the point I was trying to get across on my 'rock on hardtail' post. what's right for me - maybe way different than what is right for another rider.
