i want to run at sea level
Once upon a time when I started mtn biking - I wondered why in the heck all the rides started with a gut-busting climb. Seriously - here's the elevation profile of one of my favorite rides.(btw - this is a totally awesome ride)
Just once I want to ride some place when it starts and ends with a downhill and there's 30+ miles of rolling terrain. I have not found that place in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, or New Mexico
Now with running I hear how great it is to run at sea level. I noticed when reading "Running with the Buffaloes" they mentioned (several times mind you) the time differences between running at sea level and at altitude. Don't get me wrong - I love spending the summers in Breckenridge and riding at high altitude. (and hopefully this year running at altitude.) But I'm lazy and I think it would be really nice to run somewhere where there's lots of oxygen. :)
