Lost in the Land of Wal-Mart
here's the sign of the closest one to me
Holy Moly - now my Mom loves WalMart - but i try to avoid them as much as possible. But there are 3 things about the suburbs of SLC
1. every generic chain restaurant known to man has a good foot hold here
2. the exception is I rarely see any StarBucks (i avoid StarBucks too as i think they are WAY overpriced)
3. There is literally a Wal-Mart on every corner (much like StarBucks in other towns)
Just out of curiousity I went to the Wal-Mart site and typed in zip code 84084 (where I'm staying) and within a 10 mile radius there are a whopping 11 stores. check it out...
walmart link ughh...it's kinda depressing....look at those pretty mountains in the background tho...SLC does have it's charms amist all the suburbia.
